The doctoral promote held on Aula Pascasarjana Ekonomi, Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Bengkulu. di Jl. WR Supratman Kandang Limun Kota Bengkulu.
The objectives of this research include the analysis of
(i) the development of human resource development in districts / cities in Bengkulu Province;
(ii) analyzing economic development and economic growth in Bengkulu Province
(iii) analyzing the effect of human capital and other determinants toward economic growth in Bengkulu Province
The results showed that the influence of human capital and other determinants on economic growth in Bengkulu Province, seen from the variables of average length of schooling, skilled workforce, life expectancy, maternal mortality, government spending in the health sector, and investment has a significant effect on economic growth in Bengkulu Province, while the variables of unskilled labor, government spending in education, and unemployment have no significant effect on economic growth in Bengkulu province
