The purpose of the dissertasion is to evaluate regional typologies based on the achievements of sustainable development indicators so that policies can be taken to improve sustainable development achievements.
Based on the calculation results of the Regional Sustainability Index, it can be seen that the Regional Typology shows that 76 percent of the regions have the typology of ‘medium sustainable areas’ and the remaining 24 percent have the typology of ‘high sustainable areas’. There are no areas that have a ‘highly sustainable area’, ‘low sustainable area’, or ‘unsustainable area’ typology. The typology of ‘highly sustainable areas’ is owned by Palembang City, Prabumulih City, Pagaralam City and Lubuklinggau City; The status of ‘moderate sustainable area’ is owned by Musi Banyuasin Regency, Muara Enim Regency, Lahat Regency, OKU Regency, OKI Regency, Musi Rawas Regency, OKUT Regency, OKUS Regency, Banyuasin Regency, Ogan Ilir Regency, PALI Regency, Empat Lawang Regency, and North Musi Rawas Regency; No area has a ‘low sustainable area’ typology and a ‘unsustainable area’ typology.
