GRADUATE LEARNING OUTCOMES (CPL)
The Indonesian National Qualifications Framework (KKNI) has regulated the profile and competence of graduates’ study programs based on tiered levels. Doctoral Program in Economics, Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Bengkulu equips students with theoretical understanding and proficiency in conducting empirical studies equivalent to KKNI level 9. Based on the KKNI level 9, the Doctoral Program in Economics has the aim that Doctoral graduates in the field of Economics have:
- Insight and breadth of science and technology reflected through competence, creativity, innovation, and independence, both on a national and regional scale as well as internationally.
- Ability to develop concepts through education, research and service to the community with the task of developing Economic Sciences as well as other academic activities.
- Ability to carry out an interdisciplinary approach to the development of Science Economics.
- Integrity as a scientist and person with the ethics of science and technology positive in life during the scientific community and society in general.
- Ability of science and technology services to develop autonomous regions, people’s economy, and environment, especially for socio-cultural interests, on an ongoing basis based on integrative and comprehensive concepts.
Therefore, the doctoral program in economics, faculty of economics and business at Bengkulu University is expected to be able to produce graduates who have scientific integrity and the ability to take an interdisciplinary approach to the development of economic science, the ability to solve complex problems, and ability communicate research results, as well as the ability to cooperate in activities research and development.
GRADUATE PROFILE
To achieve the graduate profile, the doctoral program in economics determines the competence of graduates based on Kepmendiknas No. 045 / U / 2002 and Presidential Regulation Republic of Indonesia No. 8 of 2012 concerning the Indonesian National Qualifications Framework (KKNI) and Permenristek Dikti No.44 of 2015 concerning National Standards for Higher Education.
The main competencies of graduates of the doctoral program in economics, Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Bengkulu are:
- Have a holistic understanding of economics in the public and non-profit sectors so that the mastery of the current issues of economic science in theory and application can be well expressed.
- Able to develop the public sector and non-profit sector economic knowledge both theoretically and applied through various interdisciplinary, multidisciplinary and transdisciplinary research that is directed, measurable and scientifically accountable, and capable of receiving national and international recognition.
- Able to solve development problems by providing economical solutions based on empirical data and theoretical understanding.
- Able to take an interdisciplinary approach to apply Economics in compiling arguments and producing quality, original research in solving problems through theoretical and applied rules to obtain peer recognition from peers, governments, and non-profit and commercial institutions on the benefits of the research results.
Supporting Competencies for graduates of the doctoral program in economics, Faculty of Economics and Business, Bengkulu University, are
- Able to analyze, explain and synthesize current issues of Economics conceptually and systematically.
- Develop a research roadmap (roadmap) in the development and public planning economics partially or entirely, independently or in collaboration with other institutions.
- Have the ability of reliable research methods, good skin skills or quantitative skills with the use of relevant and up-to-date information and communication technology.
- Can communicate orally and in writing in academic and non-academic contexts.
- Able to disseminate research results in scientific forums and publications in reputable national and international journals.
