HISTORY OF MASTER OF APPLIED ECONOMICS

Establishment of the Master of Applied Economics (MAE) Study Program, previously named the Master of Development Planning (MDP) based on the Decree of the Director General of Higher Education No. 15 / D / T / 2006, dated January 3, 2006. Since its establishment, the MPP Study Program has carried out the accreditation process twice, namely in 2011 and 2017. In 2011 and 2017, MPP Study Program was accredited B. In 2018, along with the adjustment of the nomenclature at Bengkulu University, the name of the Master of Development Planning Study Program changed to Master of Applied Economics (MAE). The name change of the MPP study program to MAE based on the Decree of the Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education number 1343 / KPT / 1/2018 dated December 31, 2018. In connection with the change in the name of the study program from MDP to MAE, The accreditation rating for met study programs has been issued by BAN PT with Decree number 12169/SK/BAN-PT/Ak-PNB/M/XI/2021 dated November 4, 2021 with a rating of B and is valid until January 10, 2022, after that the MAE study program carries out monitoring and evaluation of the fulfillment of accreditation rating requirements before the accreditation decision ends. Therefore, the MET Study Program was declared necessary to carry out Phase 2 Monitoring. After the 2nd phase of monitoring is completed, the MET study program obtained an accreditation rating of B. Based on BAN-PT decree No. 65/SKBAN-PT/Ak-PPJ/M/I/2022 which is valid from January 11, 2022 to January 11, 2027.
