Economic Practitioners and Planners Graduates are able to work in the field of economics, have a deep understanding of various aspects of the economy, are able to study economic policies, market operating systems, the dynamics of the people’s economy, and are able to plan economic activities in the future

Economic Analyst Graduates are able to analyze economic changes that occur at home and abroad and use this information for policy-making on economic conditions

Entrepreneurial Graduates are able to seize market opportunities and utilize existing resources, expertise, and technology to generate profits and can develop their businesses both in terms of quality and quantity

Graduate Learning Outcomes

The Development Economics study program at Bengkulu University is actively involved in every forum of the Indonesian Development Economics Study Program Association (APSEPI). Starting with the policy issued by the government related to the National Standards for Higher Education (SNDikti), APSEPI held several workshops to formulate graduate learning outcomes (CPL) of the Development Economics study program for all levels of education. Graduate learning outcomes of the Development Economics study program include attitudes, mastery of economics, general skills and special skills, which include:

  1. Able to master basic economic concepts
  2. Able to identify economic problems and provide data-driven solutions
  3. Able to collect, process, and analyze technology-based economic data
  4. Able to master statistical and econometric analysis tools
  5. Able to present findings and analysis clearly both verbally and in writing
  6. Able to communicate, organize, lead, think creatively and innovatively, and build business networks
