PUBLIC LECTURERS

Saturday, October 1, 2022, the Master of Accounting Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Bengkulu, conducted a public lecture. This public lecture activity brought Dr. Istianingsih Sastrodiharjo, M.S., Ak., CA., CSRS., CMA., CBV., CACP as a speaker. He is a book writer and practitioner and also as Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Binis Bhayangkara University Jakarta.

The public lecture of the Master of Accounting Study Program was officially opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Bengkulu University, Dr. Armely, SE., M.Si. The activity was attended by master of accounting students ranging from batches XXI to XXIII, lecturers of the Accounting Department, Deputy Deans, and guests.

Dr. Istianingsih Sastrodiharjo, M.S., Ak., CA., CSRS., CMA., CBV., CACP as a resource person, presented material on Accountant Spirituality in Economic Dynamics. In the material, Dr. Istianingsih Sastrodiharjo explained that Spirituality could produce at least five things, namely (1) integrity or honesty; (2) energy or passion; (3) inspiration or ideas and initiatives; (4) wisdom; and (5) courage in making decisions. Of course, these values must be created in accountants, especially graduates from the Master of Accounting Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Bengkulu University.

Dr. Istianingsih Sastrodiharjo gave mementoes to the participants of the activity, especially to participants who had the opportunity to ask questions. The memento given is in the form of a book by Dr. Istianingsih Sastrodiharjo entitled “The Power of Spirituality in Entrepreneurship.”
